So here's our little sleep hole I've been sleeping in for the past month or so. It's been serving me well, although I never really felt comfortable being home at a reasonable hour. I'm excited to have a place to relax in so I can make money, come home, and be more introverted so the money saving can really kick off.
This apartment is one of the weirdest I've ever seen. As you can see there's this weird roof decoration above the bar. What can't be seen in the picture is that the overhang is well below normal standing height, preventing anyone of average height from comfortably sitting or leaning at the bar. Also visible is the Cold War microwave which sounds an alarm when finished.
Here you can see the strange decor in this quaint little place. If I were to describe it I'd say it was a mod-70s-beach-resort. When sitting on the couches one experiences a significant cloud of dust.
One of the more fun nights so far this month was the Christmas party. I think it happened on the 17th? That sounds right. This was one of the funnest parties I've been at in a while. Tom and I were discussing some of the reasons: everyone looked nice, copious high-end booze, a fire pit, a hookah, and multiple levels of environment which made everything seem a little more dynamic.
In other news, I'll be leaving my job on Monday to explore other opportunities. The office was really fun, and I'm surprised to say that I'll probably sort of miss some of the people in there. Alice, Bethany, Tara, and Meg. George, the only other male in the office, was pretty funny too. Samantha was definitely also a great office mom. It was definitely interesting, and I lost a little more shame when having to canvas people. It really is a subtle skill that has its uses. It was also nice getting to work again. It really feels good to be making money again, if it's really close to minimum wage. Hopefully everything will work out amicably.
Things are pretty great with Rebecca. It's been easier than I thought it would be, being separated I mean. It's almost been 2 months already. Sometimes it feels like it's been forever, other times it feels like she's hardly been gone. She's so supportive and enjoyable to talk to. I fee like I can tell her anything which is really nice. It was awful having to censor myself with other girls in the past. Christmas should be enjoyable. Happy holidays y'all!

I'm smitten by a foreign lass. I love Rebecca Gonzalez.

So my job is working out nice. I sort of wish I had a place to stay though so the gas wouldn't offset my pay so harshly.
Rebecca is coming to the States on the 19th of this month. Insane! I'm crazy excited to finally see her in person. It's been months. I'm sure lots of fun stuff will be planned in tr upcoming weeks.
Today I leave for the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival in SF. Last year was fun but I imagine this year will be better. Updates forthcoming.
